Hi, I'm Storm Rider. I create original fabric paintings inspired by the wildlife and coastal beauty around me. Every piece is handcrafted from individually selected fabrics, and my hope is that each one invites youIto slow down, look a little closer, and discover something new.

Every fabric painting begins long before the first piece is placed. I carefully select fabrics for their color, texture, and pattern, then hand-cut and layer each piece individually. Rather than using paint to create light and shadow, I build every image one fabric at a time, allowing the materials themselves to bring each artwork to life.

 Living along Florida's Nature Coast, I'm surrounded by wildlife that never stops inspiring me. From gentle manatees and graceful sea turtles to colorful birds and tropical flowers, each encounter offers new ideas and new ways to celebrate the beauty of the natural world.

Through fabric, I hope to capture not only what these subjects look like, but also the sense of wonder they inspire. Every piece is my invitation to pause, look a little closer, and appreciate the extraordinary details that nature offers every day.
