I love making birds because of all the details in their feathers. People often tell me I must have so much patience to put all those tiny pieces into place, but it has never really felt like patience to me.
When I’m working on all those little details, I’m just creating something. I’m not thinking about how long it takes or how patient I have to be. I’m simply enjoying watching the bird come to life, one feather at a time.
